I'm looking for some good ideas if thing to do at my wedding reception...?

I'm getting married in July of this year. Money has been really tight so we decided to not have a church wedding and just go to the courthouse. The next day we are planning to have a really nice reception. I've already mailed out save the date cards. They kind of set the tone.. which is laid back but elegant. Can anyone give me any ideas of how I can pull off a really nice reception. Oh yeah I've been to different weddings before but I want to do something different.
