Help please misscarrage!?

i just had a misscarraige last saturday, been back to the hospital formore blood tests and my hormoan level has risen, it was 82 now its 86 and they cant understand why its doing that, i took an early detection test and it said i concieved 1-2 weeks ago that was last week before i misscarried! could they have missed it or is it likely to be an etopic pregnancy............ worried shitless and gotta wait another 48 hours for more blood tests
