Genetic Engineering Information?

My son is 13 years old and reds at a senior year highschool level, and wants to get some good sites on genetical engineering because he is quite facinated by it. If someone can send an E-Book(full books online, illeagle or not i wont tell :D ) or a few pages of information on the greatness of genetic engineering. Maybe even a few book recomendations would be great, Thanks!
