In the state of Indiana is there a law for getting rent back ?

I live in an apartment complex and was told no convicted child molesters live here by the landlord... Only to find out 6 months later that there is one living here. Now they are kicking him out but trying to keep it a secret from the other tenants... Is there a law for me to get my rent back that I paid while he was living here ??? Please help me out. Thank you.
