What do I need to know about feeding? read on...?

Lots of questions. Most things consumed will end up in the milk including drugs and alcohol. You can hold the baby in one arm while nursing and still do other things with the other arm. I never pumped, but then I was a housewife. If I had to work then I would have to pump to save milk for the baby while I was at work. Yes a lot of women do this. If you don't have to leave the baby to work, I wouldn't worry about pumping. Let the baby nurse for at least 10 minutes on a side each feeding. That way you'll be empty.
