Can one profess deep faith in Jesus and yet hold a hate-grudge against the in-laws who she divorced?

She is human and subject to human emotions and contradictions. She may come to forgive them but forgiveness takes time. Perhaps she is struggling with the same question. Give her time and understand that we all have conflicting emotions and ideas.
